This exquisite eatery specializes in bringing the rich flavors of Japanese cuisine to life, with a particular focus on their signature noodle dishes and inventive cocktails. Situated conveniently at 15 Av. Nte, this restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience for both locals and tourists alike.
At UNO Japanese Noodles, the meticulous craftsmanship of their dishes sets the restaurant apart. The standout offerings include the Harusake Noodles, a delightful combination of rice noodles infused with sake and an array of fresh vegetables like wakame, shiitake mushrooms, and tofu. Priced at MX$200, this dish caters to both the palate and the appetite. If you're in the mood for something a tad more robust, the Kiiroiudon Noodles, served with thick wheat noodles and curry, is a must-try.
What truly elevates UNO’s menu is the harmonious blend of flavors. The addition of sautéed corn, onion, and your choice of protein ensures that each bowl is customizable to your taste. As one satisfied customer, Ashley Kaye, puts it, the dumplings are "the size of my hand" and are "worth every single bite."
Not to be overshadowed by their noodles, the restaurant offers a fantastic selection of cocktails. The Pass Coctel, with passion fruit pulp, rosemary essence, and zesty citrus notes, perfectly complements the meal while refreshing your palate. For a sweeter kick, try Raisu, blending ginger, strawberry, and banana essences for a uniquely delicious experience.

Patrons enjoy quick service that doesn’t compromise on warmth or friendliness, allowing for a delightful dining affair. “ Honest review — first off I would like to say I almost never leave five stars Food: AMAZING !!!! It was difficult to even order because I wanted one of everything. For my appetizer I ordered a dumping that was basically the size of my hand. Worth every single bite Yakimeshi — went with the vegetarian option and man it was very very good (a little heavy on the cream cheese) Vegan sushi roll: okay wow, I could eat this every single day and never grow tired of it Drinks: we’re delicious Atmosphere: is a lot of energy because of the street location Service: was super quick and they were very kind Cost: slightly high.. they have the location to justify prices and the food is worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend I will be going back and getting another dumpling, ramen, and more vegan sushi rolls ”
“ Paid visits to this restaurant two days in a row. Very impressive! The sushi rolls are so good. If you want to try some tasty Japanese dessert, I recommend their mochi. Well-displayed and the taste reminds me of dessert from my childhood! ”
“ Food was good, service was nice. I asked for a frozen lemonade and even though they didn’t have it on the menu they were able to do it for me. Thank you!! ”
“ Omg what a random awesome find The service was so friendly, fun and helpful. The drinks were very well presented. We both had a noodle dish and they bring the broth separately in a cute jug and pour in on for you. Love the presentation and especially the taste. I’ll go again soonreally affordable for how big the bowl was as well. You won’t be disappointed ”
“ This is the most popular sushi spot I’ve seen in Playa del Carmen and I see why, it’s AMAZING with great specials. You buy 2 sushi rolls and get a 3rd one free. I highly recommend the desserts here especially the frozen ice cream Also they have the largest dumpling I’ve ever seen in my life, 5/5, great job! ... ”
“ This was my favorite hole in the wall in Tulum. The menu is short but a perfect offering of sushi and other Japanese noodles and rice bowls. The food was at the right price and awesome presentation. I thought it was delicious and super healthy. I will definitely be back next time i'm here. ”
“ Service was amazing — not forced at all and super genuine!! Food was delicious. We had sushi, which were 3 for 2 (!!!), and a ramen. For starter: edamame. AMAZING! Highly recommend! ”
“ Good food, great service and ambiance. Prices are a little steep (I paid 10 for my roll of sushi before drink) but it was really, really delicious. My friends got poke bowls and a curry and those portions are BIG. You could definitely split the egg and chicken rice bowl, and could split a poke bowl so long as neither of you was particularly hungry. Delicious but be careful what size of thing you order ”
